COPENHAGEN, Denmark (Interstat) — A struggling Vejle BK W side, still in search of its first victory, will host a streaky Silkeborg in a Danish Superliga women’s football match on Sunday.

The matchup at Vejle Stadium pits two teams at opposite ends of the form table. Vejle remains the only team in the competition without a win this season, posting a record of 0-5-3 for just three points. Their most recent outing was a 5-1 defeat to Midtjylland W on Oct. 19.

Silkeborg (3-6-2) arrives with momentum after a stunning 3-1 victory over powerhouse FC København last Friday. That result highlighted their unpredictable nature, as it came just over a week after a 3-1 loss to ASA Aarhus.

The previous meeting between these two sides on Sept. 28 ended in a 1-1 draw, suggesting Vejle can be competitive despite its record. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 win for the visiting Silkeborg.

Following this contest, Silkeborg will turn its focus to a DBU Pokalen cup match at Midtjylland on Oct. 30. Vejle’s next assignment is a league fixture at Sonderjyske on Nov. 2.
