RAALTE, Netherlands (Interstat) — FC Twente ’65 delivered a stunning 4-1 road victory over RKSV Rohda Raalte on Thursday in the first round of the KNVB Beker Women tournament. The result defied projections that heavily favored the home side. Sam Lammers opened the scoring in the 34th minute at Sportpark Tijenraan, followed by goals from Arno Verschueren, Sondre Ørjasæter and Bas Kuipers. Verschueren also received a yellow card in the 67th minute. The win gives FC Twente ’65 a 1-0 start in the competition, while Rohda Raalte begins its season 0-1.
