EDINBURGH, Scotland (Interstat) — A clash of clubs at opposite ends of the competitive spectrum is set for Saturday when in-form Musselburgh Athletic hosts Forfar Athletic FC in the SWF Scottish Cup.

Musselburgh Athletic enters the fixture with momentum, boasting a 3-1 record across all competitions this season. They advanced in the cup with a 2-0 victory over Bonnyton Thistle FC on Sept. 27. Their potent attack has been on display, including a 6-1 league win over Vale of Leithen and a 5-0 victory against Edinburgh Utd in August.

Forfar Athletic, by contrast, has yet to kick off its competitive campaign. The club’s official record in all competitions stands at 0-0, with its last recorded result dating to Jan. 1, 1970, indicating a significant data discrepancy or delayed season start. This will be Forfar’s first official match of the 2025 cup competition.
