KUCHING, Sarawak (Interstat) — Kuching FA defeated Terengganu 2-1 on Friday at Stadium Negeri Sarawak in the Super League season opener. Šervonī Mabatšoev scored in the 13th minute and Jerome Mpacko Etame added a goal in the 80th minute for the home side. Terengganu scored once but could not overcome the deficit. The victory gave Kuching FA a 1-0 record in all competitions, while Terengganu dropped to 0-1. Both teams were playing their first match of the 2026 Super League campaign.
