KOTA KINABALU, Malaysia (Interstat) — Darren Lok scored two first-half goals to lead Imigresen to a 2-1 victory over Sabah in the Malaysian Super League on Saturday at Stadium Likas.

Lok found the net twice in the 30th minute, giving the visitors a commanding early lead. Sabah’s Fayadh Zulkifli scored a late consolation goal in the 83rd minute, but the home side could not complete the comeback.

The result improved Imigresen’s league record to six wins, 10 losses and two draws. Sabah fell to four wins, 10 losses and four draws. The outcome defied pregame projections that heavily favored a Sabah win.
