LISBON, Portugal (Interstat) — SC Portugal W delivered a dominant 5-1 victory over FC Alverca in a Taça da Liga Feminina match Tuesday at Estádio José Alvalade. The home side’s attack was led by forward Geovany Quenda and defender Salvador Blopa, who each scored two goals. Kaiky Naves, who entered as a substitute, provided an assist but also received a yellow card. The lopsided result defied a pregame projection that heavily favored SC Portugal W. With the win, SC Portugal W begins its cup campaign with a 1-0 record, while FC Alverca starts at 0-1.
