MONACO (Interstat) — Monaco and Juventus FC opened their Champions League campaigns with a 0-0 draw on Wednesday at Stade Louis II.

The result defied pre-match projections from Interstat, which gave Monaco a 98.6 percent probability to win and forecast a 2-1 victory. Both defenses held firm in a physical match that produced four yellow cards, issued to Monaco’s Thilo Kehrer and Lamine Camara, and Juventus substitutes Kenan Yıldız and Vasilije Adžić.

The stalemate leaves each club with identical early records of 0 wins, 0 losses and 1 draw in European play this season, mirroring their overall records across all competitions.
