MORECAMBE, England (March 25, 2026) (Interstat) — Substitute Alex Reid scored twice in the final 15 minutes to propel Hartlepool United to a 3-2 comeback victory over Morecambe in a National League match Wednesday at Mazuma Mobile Stadium.

Hartlepool, which trailed 2-1 after an hour, secured the win despite being projected as underdogs. Morecambe took a 2-1 lead with goals from Gwion Edwards in the 23rd minute and Charlie Caton in the 34th. Jack Nolan scored for Hartlepool in the 60th.

Reid equalized in the 75th minute and netted the winner in the 87th. Hartlepool improved to 1-0-0 in the league, while Morecambe fell to 0-1-0. Miguel Azeez and Harlee Dean each received yellow cards for Hartlepool.
