MORECAMBE, England (Feb. 10, 2026) (Interstat) — Morecambe and Tamworth played to a 2-2 draw Tuesday in a National League match at Mazuma Mobile Stadium. The result defied a pregame projection that favored the visitors.

Tamworth’s Jack Nolan opened the scoring in the 24th minute, but Morecambe’s Jordan Cullinane-Liburd equalized before halftime in the 38th. Christopher Popov put Tamworth ahead again in the 65th, only for Oliver Lynch to secure a point for the home side with an 84th-minute leveler.

The match featured four yellow cards. Both teams remain unbeaten with identical records of one draw and no wins in the league this season. The draw followed a pregame simulation that predicted a 1-1 result, though statistical models had given Tamworth a slight edge to win outright.
