Internacional vs Bahia
RIO DE JANEIRO (Interstat) — Internacional and Bahia will meet Saturday in a Carioca Série A clash at Estadio Beira-Rio, a rematch of their encounter just over two weeks ago.
Bahia (12-5-9) enters the match in stronger form within the competition, sitting well above Internacional (6-6-11) in the table. The visitors also won the most recent head-to-head, a 1-0 victory on Oct. 22. The season series is split, however, with each team securing a home win and a draw in their three meetings this year.
Recent momentum favors Bahia, despite a 3-0 loss to Atletico Mineiro on Wednesday. Prior to that defeat, Bahia had won three of its previous four matches, including the victory over Internacional and a 4-0 rout of Gremio.
Internacional seeks to rebound from a 1-0 loss to EC Vitoria on Wednesday. The home side has struggled to score, failing to find the net in its last three outings, including the previous match against Bahia. Its last win was a 2-0 victory over Sport Recife on Oct. 19.
Across all competitions, Bahia holds a significant edge in overall record at 39-19-19, compared to Internacional’s 28-28-20.
The Interstat game simulator projects a 1-1 draw.
Kickoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, in Porto Alegre.
