SALVADOR, Brazil (Interstat) — Willian José scored twice in the final 15 minutes Sunday, leading Bahia to a 2-1 comeback victory over RB Bragantino in a Carioca Série A match at Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova. Bahia overcame an early deficit after Matheus Fernandes put the visitors ahead in the 20th minute. Willian José equalized in the 75th and netted the stoppage-time winner, assisted by goalkeeper Danilo Fernandes. The result defied a pregame projection of a draw, handing Bahia a winning start to the domestic season while Bragantino began with a loss.
