CARDIFF, Wales (Interstat) — Cardiff City defeated Bolton Wanderers 2-0 in an English League One match Saturday at Cardiff City Stadium.

The hosts scored twice in a decisive two-minute span early in the second half. Midfielder Omari Kellyman opened the scoring in the 50th minute. Midfielder Chris Willock doubled the lead in the 52nd minute, assisted by defender Joel Bagan, who later received a yellow card in the 70th.

The victory improved Cardiff City’s League One record to 24 wins, 7 losses and 11 draws. Bolton Wanderers fell to 18-8-16 in the competition. The result avenged Cardiff’s 1-0 loss in the reverse fixture last October.
