DONCASTER, England (Interstat) — Substitute Lorent Tolaj scored a hat trick to lead Plymouth Argyle to a 5-1 victory over Doncaster in a League One match Saturday at Eco-Power Stadium.

Plymouth overwhelmed the home side early, with Brandon Hanlan scoring in the fourth minute. Tolaj then netted twice around a goal from Owen Oseni, all before the 23rd minute, for a 4-0 halftime lead. Xavier Amaechi added a late goal in the 88th.

The decisive win defied pregame projections that favored Doncaster. Four yellow cards were issued in a contentious second-half span. Plymouth Argyle improved its League One record with the road victory.
