LONDON (Interstat) — Crystal Palace and Finland’s Kuopion Jalkapal played to a 2-2 draw in UEFA Europa Conference League group stage play Thursday at Selhurst Park.

Kuopion Jalkapal struck first in the fifth minute through Christantus Uche. The visitors held the lead until the 50th minute when Palace substitute Piotr Parzyszek equalized. Kuopion Jalkapal responded swiftly, with substitute Ibrahim Cissé scoring just three minutes later to regain the advantage.

Palace midfielder Justin Devenny leveled the match again in the 76th minute. The game’s momentum shifted after Kuopion Jalkapal’s Clinton Antwi received a red card in the 73rd minute. Both teams remain winless in the competition with identical records after the draw, which defied a pregame projection favoring the English side.
