DUBLIN (Interstat) — Crystal Palace opened its UEFA Europa Conference League campaign with a commanding 3-0 victory over Shelbourne FC on Thursday at Tallaght Stadium.

All three goals came from substitutes in a decisive first-half span. Christantus Uche opened the scoring in the 11th minute, followed by Eddie Nketiah in the 25th and Yeremi Pino in the 37th. Mark Coyle and Tyreke Wilson provided assists for the English Premier League side.

The result defied pre-match projections that heavily favored the Irish home side. Crystal Palace begins group play with a win, while Shelbourne starts with a loss.
