BUCHAREST, Romania (Interstat) — An in-form FSV Mainz 05 W side travels to face FC Universitatea Craiova in a UEFA Europa Conference League group stage match on Thursday.

The German club enters the contest unbeaten in its last six matches across all competitions (4-0-2). Mainz is coming off a 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim in domestic league play last Friday. Their recent run includes a 2-1 victory over Italian side Fiorentina in this competition on Nov. 6.

Universitatea Craiova, the Romanian hosts, last played on Nov. 6, securing a 1-0 away win against SK Rapid Wien. That result improved their European campaign record this season to 3-0-1.
