KUOPIO, Finland (Interstat) — Slovan Bratislava looks to build on its perfect start in the UEFA Europa Conference League when it visits Finnish side Kuopion Jalkapalloseura on Thursday.

The Group D matchup at Kuopio Football Stadium pits a Slovak club that has begun its European campaign with a victory against a Finnish opponent still seeking its first win in the competition.

Slovan Bratislava (1-0-0) opened its group stage with a 2-0 win over Zrinjski on Sept. 14. The club, however, has struggled for consistency across all competitions this season, posting a 3-6-2 overall record. It is coming off a 1-0 loss to AZ in its most recent European fixture on Oct. 23.

Kuopion Jalkapalloseura (0-0-0) is set for its group stage debut after advancing through the qualifying rounds. Its last European outing was a 0-0 draw with Breioablik on Oct. 23. The Finnish club holds a 1-1-0 record across all competitions this season.

According to the Interstat game simulator, Slovan Bratislava is projected to earn a decisive 4-0 victory.

This is the first-ever meeting between the two clubs.
