PRAGUE (Interstat) — AC Sparta Praha and RKS Rakow Częstochowa played to a scoreless draw in UEFA Europa Conference League group stage play Thursday at epet Arena. The result defied a pregame projection that heavily favored the hosts. Sparta Praha was given a 66.9% probability to win by statistical models, but neither side could break the deadlock. The lone yellow card was issued to Rakow’s Bogdan Racovițan in the 31st minute. Both clubs open their competition records at 0-0-1.
