COPENHAGEN, Denmark (Interstat) — UMF Breioablik and Finland’s Kuopion Jalkapal will open their UEFA Europa Conference League group stage campaigns on Thursday in a matchup of clubs seeking their first win in the competition.

The game at Kopavogsvöllur in Iceland pits a Breioablik side that has struggled for form this season against a Kuopion team looking to rebound from a heavy defeat in its last European outing.

Breioablik, 1-3 across all competitions, is coming off a 3-0 loss to FC Lausanne-Sport on Oct. 2. Its lone victory was a 2-1 result against Virtus on Aug. 21.

Kuopion Jalkapal brings a 1-1 overall record into the match. It was thumped 4-0 by Midtjylland in its most recent match on Aug. 21, a performance it will be eager to put behind it. The club’s last win was a 2-1 victory at FK Rīgas Futbola Skola on Aug. 6.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, Breioablik is projected for a dominant 4-0 home victory.

The match kicks off at 8 p.m. local time (2000 GMT).
