VALENCIENNES, France (March 27, 2026) (Interstat) — Valenciennes and Aubagne opened their National 1 campaigns with a 0-0 draw Friday at Stade du Hainaut.

The match failed to produce a goal despite a pregame projection favoring the hosts. Interstat’s game simulator had forecast a 1-1 result, and its ELO system gave Valenciennes an 81.8% probability to win.

The stalemate left both clubs with identical records: 0 wins, 0 losses and 1 draw in the league and across all competitions this season.

Aubagne midfielder Mabrouk Rouai received a yellow card in the 27th minute. Teammates Sofiane Boudraa and Nohim Chibani were also booked late in the second half.
