CREMONA, Italy (Interstat) — AS Roma’s U20 side visits Cremonese U20 on Friday, May 1, in a Campionato Primavera 1 match at a time to be determined.

Roma defeated Cremonese 1-0 in their most recent meeting on Jan. 12. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-0 Roma victory in the rematch.

Roma enters the match following a 2-0 win at Bologna on April 25 in league play. That result came the same day Roma drew 1-1 at home against Juventus U20. Roma’s recent form includes a scoreless draw at Lazio U20 on April 19 and a 1-1 draw with Atalanta on April 18. The club’s last loss came April 5, a 5-2 defeat at Inter Milan. Roma also suffered a 2-1 loss at Atalanta U20 on April 4.

Cremonese arrives after a 2-0 loss at Parma U20 on April 25. The team has lost four of its last five matches. That stretch includes a 3-1 home loss to Hellas Verona U20 on April 19 and a 3-0 loss at Torino U20 on April 13. Cremonese’s only win in its last 10 matches came Feb. 20, a 2-1 victory at Cagliari U20.

Friday’s match offers Roma a chance to build momentum ahead of a busy May schedule. Roma’s senior side faces Fiorentina on May 4 in Serie A, followed by a Primavera match against Sassuolo U20 on May 9. Cremonese next faces Fiorentina U20 on May 10.
