AIRDRIE, Scotland (Jan. 3, 2026) (Interstat) — Airdrieonians and Raith Rovers opened their Scottish Championship seasons with a 0-0 draw Saturday at Albert Bartlett Stadium.

The match defied a pregame projection from Interstat, which gave Airdrieonians a 60.4% chance to win and predicted a 1-1 scoreline. Instead, both defenses held firm in a physical contest that produced three late yellow cards. Airdrieonians’ Dylan McDonald was cautioned in the 73rd minute, followed by bookings for Charlie Telfer and substitute Richard Chin in second-half stoppage time.

The result leaves both clubs with identical records to start their league campaigns: no wins, no losses and one draw.
