Wycombe Wanderers vs Rotherham Utd
LONDON (Interstat) — Wycombe Wanderers will look to build momentum Saturday against a struggling Rotherham United side in a League One matchup at Adams Park.
Wycombe (time TBD local) enters the May 2 clash seeking to end a two-match losing streak. The Chairboys fell 4-3 at Lincoln City on April 25, despite scoring three goals. That result followed a 1-0 home loss to Blackpool on April 18. Wycombe has been inconsistent, with three wins in its last 10 league matches, including a 4-0 victory over Port Vale on March 28 and a 2-0 win against Cardiff City on March 17. Defensive lapses have been costly, conceding three or more goals in three of the last five outings.
Rotherham United arrives in desperate form. The Milliners are winless in their last six matches (0-3-3) and have secured only one victory in their previous 10 league fixtures. Most recently, Rotherham played to a 1-1 draw at home against Reading on April 25. That result followed a 2-0 loss at Luton Town on April 21 and a 2-0 win at Leyton Orient on April 18 — their sole victory since March 14. Rotherham has struggled mightily away from home, losing five of its last six road matches, including a 5-0 defeat at Peterborough United on March 17 and a 3-0 loss at Lincoln City on March 21.
The clubs played to a 1-1 draw at Rotherham on Nov. 29, 2025. Wycombe’s Richard Kone scored in the 73rd minute to equalize after Sam Nombe had put the Milliners ahead in first-half stoppage time.
Wycombe forward Beryly Lubala has been a key attacking threat, while midfielder Fred Onyedinma provides creativity. Rotherham will rely on Nombe and striker Jordan Hugill to generate offense. The Milliners have managed only five goals in their last six matches.
Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 victory for Wycombe.
