NAPLES, Fla. (Interstat) — FC Naples began its USL League One campaign with a 2-0 victory over Clt Independence on Saturday at Paradise Coast Sports Complex. Forward Karsen Henderlong scored both goals for the home side, breaking a scoreless tie in the 64th minute. His second goal sealed the win for FC Naples. The match was a physical affair, with four yellow cards issued by the officiating crew. The result defied the pregame projection from Interstat, which gave FC Naples a 64.9% chance to win but predicted a 2-1 scoreline. Both teams now hold 0-0 records in league play to start the season.
