CONCARNEAU, France (Interstat) — Shelton Guillaume scored two goals in five minutes off the bench to propel FC Versailles 78 2 to a 2-0 road victory over Concarneau in a National 1 match Friday at Stade Guy Piriou.

Guillaume broke a scoreless deadlock in the 64th minute and struck again in the 69th. His substitutes, Djibril Khouma and Samir Ben Brahim, each recorded an assist, as did forward Sohan Baldoni. All three were also shown yellow cards in a physical first half.

The result was an upset according to pregame projections, which heavily favored the home side. Versailles begins its league campaign with a win, while Concarneau starts with a loss.
