AUBAGNE, France (Interstat) — Mokrane Bentoumi’s 61st-minute goal lifted Aubagne to a 1-0 victory over B-e-B Peronnas in a National 1 match Friday at Stade de Lattre de Tassigny.

The decisive finish from the forward broke a stalemate in a match where the visiting side struggled to generate offense. The result extends Aubagne’s solid campaign, improving its league record to eight wins, five losses and nine draws. Peronnas, meanwhile, continues to find wins elusive, falling to 4-13-5 in the competition.

The teams played to a scoreless draw in their previous meeting last September. The outcome aligned with statistical models that heavily favored Aubagne but fell short of a projected 1-1 draw.
