Eastern Dominates Hong Kong in Premier League Opener

HONG KONG (Interstat) — Eastern opened the domestic Premier League season with a commanding 5-0 victory over Hong Kong on Saturday at Mong Kok Stadium in Kowloon.

The home side delivered a stunning first-half performance, scoring four goals before the break to shatter pregame projections. Yu Ōkubo led the attack with goals in the 31st and 43rd minutes. Manuel Bleda scored in the 36th minute, and Gondra added another in the 52nd. Gondra completed the rout with a second goal in the 79th minute.

The result defied the Interstat game simulator, which had projected a 2-1 Eastern win. Eastern improved to 1-0 in league play, while Hong Kong fell to 0-1.
