Kitchee, North District Draw in High-Scoring Hong Kong Premier League Clash

HONG KONG (Interstat) — Kitchee and North District played to a 3-3 draw Sunday in a Hong Kong Premier League match at Mong Kok Stadium. The result defied projections that heavily favored the home side. North District opened the scoring in the 20th minute through Wong Chun Ho, but Samuel Granada equalized for Kitchee just three minutes later. The teams traded goals in the second half, with Elian Villalobos, Jordan Lam, Ruslan Mingazow and Jahangir Khan all finding the net. The draw leaves both teams with identical records in the competition. Interstat’s pre-game model had given Kitchee an 89.4 percent chance to win.
