LIMA, Peru (Interstat) — Alianza Univ and Cusco FC played to a 2-2 draw Sunday in a Peruvian Primera División match at Estadio Heraclio Tapia León. Cusco FC forward Joffre Escobar scored two first-half goals, but the home side rallied with a late equalizer. The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored a Cusco FC victory.
