AYACUCHO, Peru (Interstat) — Pablo Bueno scored the decisive goal in the 49th minute to lift Los Chankas to a 1-0 victory over Ayacucho in the Peruvian Primera División on Saturday. The home side secured the win at Estadio Los Chankas in a match that saw five yellow cards issued before halftime. Defender Héctor González provided the assist on Bueno’s winner. The result defied the pregame projection from Interstat, which gave Los Chankas a 79.8% chance to win but had forecast a 2-1 scoreline. With the victory, Los Chankas begin their league campaign with a win, while Ayacucho starts with a loss.
