MONTERREY, Mexico (Interstat) — Two of Liga MX’s most consistent sides will clash Saturday when Tigres UANL hosts Tijuana at Estadio Universitario.

The match pits a surging Tigres (5-1-4) squad against a Tijuana (5-2-5) team seeking offensive momentum. Both clubs have identical records across all competitions this season, underscoring their evenly matched form.

Tigres enters on a high after a 2-1 road victory over Pachuca on Wednesday, extending their unbeaten streak to five matches. Their potent attack was on full display in a 5-3 win over Necaxa last Friday.

Tijuana, meanwhile, is looking to rediscover its scoring touch after a 0-0 home draw with Toluca midweek. Their form has been inconsistent, following a wild 4-3 loss to Club Puebla with a 2-2 draw against Monterrey earlier in October.

The statistical service Interstat projects a 1-1 draw for the contest.

Following this match, Tigres will prepare for a pivotal Clásico Regio showdown at Monterrey on Nov. 1. Tijuana’s next fixture is a visit to Pumas UNAM on Nov. 2.
