DRAMMEN, Norway (Interstat) — Sandefjord opened its Eliteserien season with a stunning 6-2 road victory over Stromsgodset on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at Marienlyst Stadion. The visitors dominated from the start, with Stefán Ingi Sigurðarson scoring just one minute into the match. Marko Farji contributed two goals and an assist in the lopsided win, which far exceeded a pregame projection that favored Sandefjord. The result gives Sandefjord a winning start to the Norwegian top-flight campaign while Stromsgodset begins with a defeat.
