Substitute Cornic Leads Tromso to Comeback Victory

HAUGESUND, Norway (Interstat) — Substitute Leo Cornic scored two second-half goals to lead Tromso to a 3-2 comeback win over FK Haugesund in an Eliteserien match Sunday at Haugesund Stadion. The home side took an early lead on Emil Schlichting’s 23rd-minute goal, but Tromso responded with three unanswered scores. Cornic equalized in the 36th and netted the winner in the 51st, with Niko Hämäläinen also scoring for the visitors. The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored Haugesund.
