Borussia M’gladbach vs. Hoffenheim Bundesliga Women Saturday, May 16, 2026 Borussia-Park, Mönchengladbach Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. local (9:30 a.m. ET)

Borussia M’gladbach will host Hoffenheim on Saturday in a Bundesliga women’s clash at Borussia-Park, with both sides looking to solidify their positions in the middle of the table.

M’gladbach enters the match after a 1-1 draw against BFC Viktoria 1889 on May 3. The result extended a mixed run for the home side, which has won two of its last five matches. On April 26, M’gladbach defeated Ingolstadt II 2-1 on the road, but earlier in the season it dropped matches to SC Sand (2-0 on March 29) and Eintracht Frankfurt II (4-1 on Dec. 21, 2025). The team’s most impressive victory came March 22, a 4-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen.

Hoffenheim, meanwhile, arrives on a three-match unbeaten streak. Its most recent result was a 1-0 win over Werder Bremen on May 9, following a 3-3 draw with Stuttgart on May 2 and a 2-1 victory at Jahn Regensburg on May 2. However, inconsistency has plagued Hoffenheim this season. On April 25, the team lost 3-0 to Ingolstadt II and defeated Hamburger SV II 2-1 on the same day (Interstat) — a double-header that reflected a packed schedule.

Earlier in the campaign, Hoffenheim suffered losses to MSV Duisburg (3-1 on April 18), Mainz 05 II (2-1 on April 4) and FT Schweinfurt (a 1-1 draw on April 10). One of its better showings came April 17 with a 3-1 win over Augsburg, though it also drew 2-2 with Augsburg on April 10.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-2 draw, suggesting a tightly contested affair between two sides that have struggled to string together consistent wins.

M’gladbach has shown the ability to score in bursts but has been vulnerable defensively, conceding multiple goals in four of its last six outings. Hoffenheim’s attack has been more reliable, netting in five of its last six, but lapses at the back (Interstat) — such as the three goals allowed against Ingolstadt II (Interstat) — remain a concern.

Saturday’s match marks the second meeting between the clubs this season. The first, played Oct. 26, 2025, ended 1-1.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. local time.
