COLCHESTER, England (Interstat) — Nicholas Tsaroulla scored in the 47th minute Saturday, lifting Notts County to a 1-0 victory over Colchester United in a League Two match at JobServe Community Stadium.

Tsaroulla also received a yellow card in the 76th minute. Four players recorded assists: defender Kane Vincent-Young, substitute Scott Robertson, forward Arthur Read and midfielder Finley Barbrook. Vincent-Young was cautioned in first-half stoppage time, Barbrook in the 52nd minute, Conor Grant in the 61st, Read in the 70th and Robertson in the 75th.

Notts County improved its League Two record to 24 wins, 14 losses and 7 draws and its overall mark to 24-16-8. Colchester United dropped to 17-16-10 in league play and 17-16-11 in all competitions.

The win avenged Colchester’s 3-1 victory over Notts County on Nov. 22, 2025.
