Barnet Edges Barrow in Five-Goal League Two Thriller
LONDON (Interstat) — Barnet opened its League Two season with a 3-2 victory over Barrow in a back-and-forth match Saturday at The Hive Stadium.
The visitors struck first through substitute Josh Gordon in the third minute, but Barnet’s Kabongo Tshimanga leveled just before halftime. Barrow’s Mark Shelton put his side back ahead in the 53rd, only for Barnet substitutes Rekeem Harper and Callum Stead to score in the 73rd and 84th minutes, completing the comeback.
The result defied a pregame projection of a 1-1 draw from Interstat, whose system heavily favored Barnet. The win gives Barnet a perfect start to the league campaign, while Barrow begins with a loss.
