WALSALL, England (March 17, 2026) (Interstat) — Walsall and Cambridge Utd opened their League Two campaigns with a 0-0 draw Tuesday at Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.

The match failed to produce a goal despite second-half involvement from key substitutes. Walsall’s Sullay Kaikai and Cambridge Utd’s Dominic Ball were each shown yellow cards after entering the fray, but neither side could break the deadlock.

The result left both clubs with identical records to start the season. The draw was a slight surprise statistically, as pregame projections favored Cambridge Utd and predicted a 1-1 scoreline.
