Hondermarck Goal Lifts Bromley Past Bristol Rovers

BROMLEY, England (Interstat) — William Hondermarck’s early goal secured a 1-0 victory for Bromley over Bristol Rovers in a League Two match Saturday at Copperjax Community Stadium.

The midfielder scored in the 18th minute, assisted by substitute Shaqai Forde. The decisive play came despite Forde’s eventful appearance; he received a yellow card in the 50th minute and was sent off with a red card in the 81st. Bromley’s Mitchell Pinnock also was booked late.

The result extended Bromley’s strong season, while Bristol Rovers struggled to generate offense. The visitors failed to score despite a pregame statistical projection that slightly favored a draw. Bromley’s defense held firm to secure the clean sheet and all three points in the league fixture.
