BARROW-IN-FURNESS, England (Feb. 17, 2026) (Interstat) — Harrogate Town opened its League Two season with a 1-0 road victory over Barrow on Tuesday at SO Legal Stadium, defying pregame projections.

Ellis Taylor scored the game’s only goal in the seventh minute, finishing an assist from midfielder Jack Thompson. The early strike held as Harrogate’s defense secured a clean sheet. Barrow, heavily favored with a 73.5% win probability according to Interstat’s ELO system, failed to equalize.
