Veertien Mie vs Criacao Shinjuku

TOKYO (Interstat) — Two sides locked on identical win totals in the Japan Football League will face off Saturday when Veertien Mie hosts Criacao Shinjuku.

The matchup at a to-be-determined venue features two teams with 11 wins each in league play this season. Veertien Mie (11-13-15) holds a slight edge in the standings over Criacao Shinjuku (11-15-12) due to fewer losses.

Veertien Mie enters on a high, coming off a dominant 5-0 road victory against Yokohama SCC last Friday. The win extended their current unbeaten streak to four matches.

Conversely, Criacao Shinjuku is mired in a winless run, having drawn 2-2 with Reilac Shiga in its last outing. The team has not secured a victory since a 1-0 result against Okinawa SV on Aug. 30, a stretch of nine league matches.

The last meeting between these clubs ended in a 2-2 draw on April 13.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, the most likely outcome for Saturday’s contest is another 1-1 draw.

Following this match, Veertien Mie will travel to face Yokogawa Musashino FC on Nov. 14. Criacao Shinjuku’s next fixture is at Grulla Morioka on Nov. 15.
