OKAZAKI, Japan (Interstat) — Maruyasu Okazaki will host Yokogawa Musashino FC on Friday in a Japan Football League match, with the home side looking to complete a season sweep.

The clubs last met on April 19, when Maruyasu Okazaki earned a 1-0 victory on the road. Interstat’s game simulator projects an identical 1-0 result for the home team this time.

Maruyasu Okazaki (11-18-6) enters the Halloween fixture looking to rebound from a 2-1 home loss to Honda on Oct. 25. The defeat extended a difficult stretch for the club, which has lost three of its last four matches across all competitions.

Yokogawa Musashino FC (5-13-8) arrives after a 1-1 draw with Urayasu on Oct. 25. The club is winless in its last three outings and has struggled to find the net, scoring just one goal in that span. Their season has been marked by defensive challenges, including recent heavy losses to Minebea Mitsumi FC and TIAMO Hirakata.

While both teams are in the lower half of the table, Maruyasu Okazaki holds the historical and statistical edge. The home side will aim to leverage its recent head-to-head success to secure three points and build momentum for its upcoming match at Reilac Shiga on Nov. 7.

Yokogawa Musashino FC, which hosts Honda on Nov. 7, will seek to disrupt that plan and find a rare road victory to improve its standing.
