Hocheg Dacher E/H vs GUnion amlitz
EGGENDORF, Austria (Interstat) — Hocheg Dacher E/H hosts GUnion amlitz on Friday in an Austrian Landesliga matchup, with the home side looking to build on a recent surge against a visiting team mired in a lengthy slump.
The game is set for May 8, 2026. A simulator run by Interstat projects a 2-1 victory for Hocheg Dacher E/H.
The teams last met Oct. 11, 2025, playing to a 0-0 draw. That result ended a run of three straight wins for Hocheg in the head-to-head series; the previous two meetings in 2024 and early 2025 saw Hocheg win by a combined 6-1.
Hocheg enters the match on uneven form but with flashes of dominance. The side lost 2-1 at SVFS Tillmitsch on Tuesday, May 5, and dropped a 1-0 decision to Young Violets Austria Wien two days earlier. However, the team had posted lopsided wins in three of its previous four outings: a 7-1 thrashing of Fehring on April 30, a 5-1 demolition of Leoben on April 18 and a 5-0 shutout of Bad Waltersdorf on March 27. Hocheg also played to a 2-2 draw with Wildon on April 24 and defeated Rapid Vienna 2-0 on April 22. Overall, the club has scored at least three goals in five of its last nine matches.
GUnion amlitz arrives in Eggendorf on a grim run. The visitors have lost seven of their past nine games, with only two draws breaking the string of defeats. They fell 2-0 at home to Ilzer SV on Tuesday, and lost 3-2 to SVFS Tillmitsch on April 30. Their lone positive result in that stretch was a 1-1 draw with Fehring on April 24; the other draw came Nov. 8, 2025, a 1-1 tie with SC Bruck/Mur. Since then, GUnion amlitz has been outscored 23-7 in defeats, including a 6-1 loss to Lebring on March 6 and a 4-1 loss to Wildon on April 17.
The visitors’ schedule does not get easier. After Friday, they face Pachern, Schladming, Allerheiligen and SC Bruck/Mur in quick succession. Hocheg, meanwhile, plays Ilzer SV on May 16, followed by Pachern, Schladming and Allerheiligen.
Friday’s match marks the beginning of a critical stretch for both sides as the Landesliga season enters its final weeks. Hocheg will aim to continue its offensive output, while GUnion amlitz seeks to halt a slide that has dropped it deep in the standings.
