Allerheiligen vs Wildon
GRAZ, Austria (Interstat) — Allerheiligen hosts Wildon on Friday, May 8 in a Landesliga match that Interstat’s game simulator projects will end in a 2-2 draw.
The teams last met Oct. 10, when Allerheiligen won 2-0 at Wildon.
Wildon enters on a positive note, coming off a 1-1 draw with Schladming on Tuesday. The visitors have won five of their last 10, including a 5-0 shutout of Pachern on Apr. 30 and a 4-1 victory at GUnion amlitz on Apr. 17. However, a 2-1 loss to SVFS Tillmitsch on Apr. 10 and draws against Fehring and Koflach have tempered consistency. Wildon also recorded a 3-2 win over Ilzer SV on Mar. 28 and a 2-0 victory against Leoben on Mar. 21.
Allerheiligen is in strong form, winning its last seven matches. The hosts most recently defeated Leoben 3-2 on Tuesday. That followed an 8-4 rout of Koflach on May 1 and a 5-1 win over Gnas on Apr. 24. Allerheiligen also posted a 5-1 win at Bad Waltersdorf on Apr. 17 and a 1-0 victory at Furstenfeld on Apr. 10. The team’s lone recent setback was a 1-0 loss to Schladming on Mar. 13.
Friday’s matchup is the second meeting this season. Allerheiligen’s 2-0 win on Oct. 10 was its second straight against Wildon in league play. The simulator’s projection of a draw suggests a competitive contest, with both sides showing strong offensive output in recent matches.
Allerheiligen has scored 31 goals in its last seven games, while Wildon has netted 18 in its last seven. Defensively, both teams have been vulnerable at times, with Wildon allowing 11 goals in its last seven and Allerheiligen conceding 14.
The match is part of a busy stretch for both clubs. Wildon hosts SC Bruck/Mur on May 15, while Allerheiligen visits Fehring the same day. Wildon also travels to Lebring on May 23, and Allerheiligen hosts SVFS Tillmitsch on May 22.
Kickoff is set for Friday evening.
