Furstenfeld vs Gnas

FURSTENFELD, Austria (Interstat) — Furstenfeld hosts Gnas on Friday, May 8, in a Landesliga matchup that pits teams with contrasting recent form against one another.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 victory for Furstenfeld, the home side.

The teams last met Oct. 10, 2025, when they played to a 2-2 draw in Gnas.

Furstenfeld enters the game after a 0-0 draw at Bad Waltersdorf on Tuesday. The result extended a stretch of inconsistent performances. On May 1, Furstenfeld posted a decisive 6-1 win at Ilzer SV. A 3-3 draw against Lebring on April 25 preceded that victory. Furstenfeld’s results this season include wins over SC Bruck/Mur (2-1 on April 18), Pachern (2-0 on March 27) and Hocheg Dacher E/H (2-1 on March 22), along with a 3-1 win at GUnion amlitz on March 13.

Gnas, meanwhile, arrives with momentum from a 2-0 win over Lebring on Tuesday. The shutout was Gnas’s fourth clean sheet in its past five matches, if one counts the recent 0-0 draw at SC Bruck/Mur on May 1. Gnas’s season has been defined by low-scoring games and defensive resilience. Other recent results include a 5-1 loss at Allerheiligen on April 24, 0-0 draws at Schladming on April 17 and at home against SC Bruck/Mur, and a 2-1 loss to Pachern on April 10. Gnas earned a 2-1 win at Leoben on Nov. 7, 2025, but carries a mixed record: six losses, five draws and three wins in its past 14 league contests.

The head-to-head history offers little separation. The Oct. 10 draw was the most recent meeting, but the simulator’s projection heavily favors Furstenfeld’s attack at home. Furstenfeld has scored nine goals in its past two home games, while Gnas has allowed only five goals in its past four matches, with two shutouts.

Looking ahead, Gnas faces Bad Waltersdorf at home on May 15, then visits Ilzer SV on May 22. Furstenfeld travels to Koflach on May 15, followed by a home date against Leoben on May 22.

Kickoff is scheduled for Friday at a time to be determined at Furstenfeld’s home venue.
