UTHAT THANI, Thailand (Interstat) — Uthai Thani opened its Thai League 1 season with a commanding 4-0 victory over Prachuap on Saturday at Uthai Thani Province Stadium. The result defied pre-match projections that heavily favored the visitors.

Forward Mo Eisa led the rout with two first-half goals, scoring in the 13th and 55th minutes. He also added an assist. Defender Martin Angha contributed a goal and an assist, while Bruno Baio scored the third. The win gives Uthai Thani a perfect start to the campaign, while Prachuap begins with a loss.

The match was physical, featuring five yellow cards. The lopsided score contradicted statistical models that gave Prachuap a high probability to win and predicted a draw.
