PRAHUAP KHIRI KHAN, Thailand (Interstat) — Substitute Diego Carioca scored in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time to complete a frantic comeback for Ayutthaya United in a 4-4 draw with Prachuap in Thai League 1 play Saturday at Sam Ao Stadium.

Ayutthaya United’s Conrado scored twice early, but Prachuap responded with two goals from Edgar Méndez and one from Saharat Kanyarot to seize a 3-2 lead. Méndez added another for a 4-2 advantage before Ayutthaya mounted its late rally. Carioca’s dramatic finish secured a point for each side. The result defied a pregame projection that heavily favored the home side. Both clubs opened their league campaigns with a draw.
