RATCHABURI, Thailand (Interstat) — Denílson Júnior scored the decisive goal Friday as Ratchaburi edged Sukhothai 1-0 in a Thai League 1 match at Dragon Solar Park Stadium.

The forward’s finish secured three points for the hosts, who improved their league record to 10 wins, 3 losses and 5 draws. Sukhothai, shut out for the second time in three matches, fell to 5-4-5.

The game’s lone goal was assisted by defender Jonathan Khemdee, who later received a yellow card in the 31st minute. Substitutes Thiti Thumporn and Elias also recorded assists on the play. Both substitutes were booked in second-half stoppage time.

The result defied a pregame projection that favored Ratchaburi but forecast a higher-scoring affair.
