FT Schweinfurt vs 1860 Munchen II

FRANKFURT, Germany (Interstat) — FT Schweinfurt hosts 1860 Munchen II on Saturday in a 3. Liga matchup that carries playoff implications for both sides as the regular season winds down.

Kickoff is at 3 p.m. local time at the Willy-Sachs-Stadion.

Schweinfurt enters the contest on a two-match unbeaten run, most recently earning a 2-2 draw at Waldhof Mannheim on April 25. That result followed a scoreless stalemate against Hansa Rostock on April 18. The home side’s form has been inconsistent, however, with only two wins in its past 10 league outings – a 3-1 victory over Stuttgart on March 21 and a 3-2 win against Ulm on March 7. Defensive struggles have plagued Schweinfurt, which has conceded four or more goals in three of its last five defeats.

1860 Munchen II arrives after a 1-0 loss at Sturm Hauzenberg on April 30, a result that snapped a modest unbeaten streak. The visitors had gone three matches without a defeat, including a 3-2 win over Ulm on April 25 and a 1-1 draw at Landsberg the previous day. Munchen II’s offense has been potent at times, scoring five goals in consecutive wins over Kirchanschoring (April 17) and Deisenhofen (March 27), but the side has also suffered lopsided defeats, including a 3-0 loss at Energie Cottbus on April 7.

The teams last met on Dec. 6, 2025, when 1860 Munchen II defeated Schweinfurt 3-1 at home. That result extended Munchen II’s head-to-head advantage in recent meetings.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 victory for the visitors.

Both sides face quick turnarounds. After Saturday, Schweinfurt travels to Havelse on May 10, then hosts Erzgebirge Aue on May 16. Munchen II visits Gundelfingen on May 5, followed by a home match against Ingolstadt II on May 9 and a trip to Verl 1924 II on May 16.

The 3. Liga season enters its final stretch, and every point matters for clubs jockeying for position. Schweinfurt will look to tighten its defense, while Munchen II aims to rediscover the scoring touch that produced 12 goals in a four-match span earlier this month.
