BUDAPEST, Hungary (Interstat) — Honved II opened its NB II season with a decisive 3-0 victory over BVSC on Sunday at Bozsik Aréna. Zoltán Medgyes opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, and Bence Varga sealed the win with a goal in second-half stoppage time. The home side’s performance defied a pregame projection from Interstat that had forecast a 1-1 draw, despite also giving Honved II a 71.9 percent probability to win. BVSC was held scoreless in its season opener.
