BEchem, Ghana (Interstat) — Substitute Salim Adams scored a late equalizer to salvage a 1-1 draw for Medeama against Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.

Augustine Okrah had put the home side ahead in the 69th minute at Bechem Fosu Gyeabour Park before Adams answered to split the points. The result mirrored the previous meeting between the clubs in November, which also ended level.

Medeama now holds a record of 12 wins, 11 draws and four losses in league play. Bechem United moved to 10 wins, 11 draws and 11 losses. The draw was in line with the pregame statistical projection for a 1-1 final.
